For over 30 years, Elouise Adams Jones, a.k.a: ”Ouisie” has been an icon in the restaurant industry in Houston and Texas. From her original spot on Sunset, to the Houston staple : Ouisie’s Table, Ouisie has been serving up the best eclectic Southern Food found in the Bayou City. Together with co owner, Wafi Dinari, a new concept is created that brings a different twist to restaurant scene.

The Bird & The Bear draws it’s inspirarion from Ouisie’s, with a twist of chic and elegant casual feel. While you’ll find Ouisie’s Table signature dishes, like Shrimp & Cheese Grits, The Bird & The Bear takes a step forward with a Mediterranean Flair. Ouisie Jones and Wafi Dinari, have created a perfectly balanced menu in an equally appetizing atmosphere that has Houston talking; whether about the extensive wine list, portrayed by an expansive wine wall, or the open kitchen from which we can see masterpieces like the Osso Bucco, or Moroccan Chicken created, it’s one to visit.
